Allow me to reintroduce myself...my name is

Allow me to reintroduce myself, my name is YOV, OH, Y to the O-V, use to move snow flakes by the O-Z. Not really. My name is Yovanny Vargas (pronounced Jovanny although people have been getting it wrong my entire life, I'll correct you once), and I am a first generation college graduate who is trying to figure out this very American, very white, world I live in. Jay Z, who is one of my favorite rappers, in 2011 said, "domino, domino, only spot a few blacks the higher up I go"  which I think is a line that encompasses my life at 26. When I am not teaching a class or taking a class, Im usually at home drawing something or practicing the piano. I also enjoy to cook, travel, play basketball with friends or try new things like sky diving and windsurfing which I've recently crossed off my bucket list. This is my last grad course for this masters degree so i guess this blog will chronicle my final countdown.
